hip-hop.....rap....wtv ppls definitions mixes both terminologies. regardless, the hiphop world has changed soo very much in the past 10yrs. rap will always be outspoken poetry....flowing to a beat. now if commercial artist have changed that into blingbling gansta shit...then fine. but essentially one can not forget where the roots of hip-hop/rap came from.
its music, expression of an artist creation....thats if its well done. |

i really like how geronimo put it down
also with agree Mj 'outspoken' "IS IT LIVE?!" -run dmc hiphop started out as raw energy but then it matured and became something sophisticated and sometimes sexy. sometimes it's fucken dirty and sometimes it's fake but it's ALL good this is true to every kind of music it's just a tool |

"heres mine.. shit!... i would say crap but thats for rap..."
correction.. that's the ugly side of the purest form of commercialized RAP.. rap itself is just PART of the hip-hop CULTURE. Unfortunately, the new generation is forgetting all about the roots and where it really came from. |

you can't tell me, you think cause someone's got long ass hair that that they're not hip-hop, i mean, that's weak...i believe in hip-hop and it as a way of life, but i don't live any sort of a "Hip-Hop" life...
i don't rap, or graff, i don't rob, or hustle, i don't get into fights, or carry weapons (anymore, i did when i was younger) i just like to sit down and make beats in my bathrobe |
