I can't agree with you Umek as a dj. The guy is always super busy on the decks with 3 tables (most of the time) and he's pretty sick technically.....maybe you don't like his selection....I actually would not be surprised if you said that.....he's got too much housey basslines for you, I think.

Luke Slater used to be cool and I miss that....he had some nice electro back in the days also but yeah he got into that new crap and even called his album "Alright On Top" because that's what the point of that music was.

I've always found that Mills records don't make as much sense outside of a mix... I actually find that with a lot of techno. That said, Mills' productions spawned a never ending line of copy cats... none of which have ever come close to the original... seriously - some of the most amazing things I've ever heard have come off Mills' records (G-Force is incredible... and shit... The Other Day ep is one of the greatest techno records I've ever heard)...

Anyhow... just have to get the man's back.

i think Dave Clarke, no matter what a turdcock he is, boring and emotionless and all that, is still a fucking super talented DJ.

i bought the Jeff Mills live toyko like 2 years ago...returned it 12 hours later. The biggest piece of shit album ever. The track selection was meh, id tell you if the mixing skills were there ,but the lame ass sound quality was so shit, i couldn't hear much other than the crowd screaming and some low pulsing baselines...Poorly made cd...Hi, i'm jeff mills, i need money so buy my live album, it's the bestest. umm ya.

one house dj who i really would like to see live is Angel Alanis...i think he came a while back and i missed him. oh well. Im too emo for clubs.
