| Asstech: The site you mentioned only allows a maximum of 55mb per track... If you do the math, a normal mix is about 90mb unless your encoding in 64kbps... Most people like 128kbps... |

| i've been hosting with globat for over a year for some smaller projects and i usually get 75-100 kb/s, but obviously you get what you pay for. that's why i'm saying that $4 a month is absurd and the people would be screwing you.
and as you pointed out, they obviously are screwing people over. when you say $4/100mb a month, are you talking diskspace or bandwith? either way, that's absurd.
personally, i think the idea is a good one, noah. unfortunately, it looks like the djs on here are cheap.

| Yah it's a problem that too many people are cheap but the ones who do fork out a little to help pay for the service will be well awarded ;)... I will also still do the text advertizing thing also, all in good time. I have a few other ideas for the site but I'm on a break from programming for a little but when I get back expect many changes and expect the french site to be totally finished as well as some new menus! This site's going to rock! |
