| the g4s i used two semesters ago crashed persistently whilst using adobe premiere.
the g5s i use now crash less frequently, but still crash, or lag, or hang. and then you still have to force quit.
and i hate the fact that its ctrl+ anything. right-click motherfucker. gimme another mouse button.
my own preference is windows gamma to mac gamma, mac tends to be lighter. they're screens are lovely though, crisper than my viewsonic.

| the only thing i have to say other than, falling off a motorcycle must suck, is
when many macs are hooked up to a server that they share databases with, then there is a much higher risk or crashing, ESPESIALLY if your using Adobe or other high juice using programs...i know this from far too much stress...

| Macs are DEDICATED machines. There's a reason that Protools only provides their good stuff to them. If you're a graphic/sound/video editter, you're best off with a mac. But, if you're an absolute jackass who feels the need to load every software program they possibly can into their machine even though you can't draw a happy face, hold a tune or make movies better than a 5 year old, you're probably going to have problems with your OS. So, please, all of you...take your heads slowly from your respective asses and realise that both Macs and PCs have pros and cons and it's as futile to argue one over the other as it is to get high off that oregano little billy sold you for $3.50.
However, MACs ARE dead sexy and damn it if i don't want to do things to them that should only be experienced between two people, or in desperate cases, a man and his dog. |
