yeah, seriously, I just put the cover back on my computer and within 2 minutes the CPU Overheating alarm went off. Jumped from 52c to 74c

like what the fuck.

My 2000XP runs at 40C-47C depending on CPU load. I have a monster heatsink on it though, that huge thermaltake copper one with a humongous fan, almost bent mobo capacitors to shit when I installed it. And my box is stripped, of course.

I need to get either a real fan cooler (I'm thinking the coolermaster Aero7) or a water cooler.

my sytem runs fine even though it is a bit hot.. I'd rather it be like that than have a fan so loud I can't hear my speakers..

Me and jon fortin put a lot of love and care into building this box...

My AMD 1900+ would over heat if the air conditioner was blowing on it. Especially with the brazil renderer for 3dsmax. Hottest it ever got was 82F

I have an 1800+ and it never got higher than around 67 degrees on the hotest summer days and I have a stock fan...
