i need a new cpu fan
have a 1.4 amd tbird and ThermalTake Dragon Orb3 cooler the 7000rpm fan is too loud my puter isn't overclocked or anything don't care to do so do i need this fan?! DUDE, IT'S LOUD! ThermalTake Silent Boost HSF is supposed to be quiet don't care what i get just want something quiet what can i get? and where localy? |

I'm in the same predicament. I just closed the lid on my case for the first time and my CPU temp went from 59 idle to 72 idle. what the fuck!
Hmm, that site is good for finding stuff. They review all sorts of coolers. One series that gets good reviews is the CoolerMaster Aero fans. They look like miniature jet engiens and aparently have amazing cooling performance. You might find them in that store that's around Cine Express, and it'll probably be in the 40-50$ area. |

sam, i've got the same cpu as you and my fan makes way too much noise.. i place towels all over my case since i sleep in the same room, and having that vacuum cleaner on all night (fan noise) drives me nuts. |
