I stopped using t-racks and now use ozone3 in cooledit ussually... ozone3 is a beast.

The Fm_man cd was mastered with a neve eq, alan smart ssl compressor, and other great stuff from the plus37db studio,

personally in my experience its best to not bother using any plug ins when mastering and to simply use the wave editors internal tools like volume edit and eqing functions... it works best that way for me any how..

I find ozone does a better job then the internal effects in cooledit at least and I like its interface better also, but I mean everyone has their own take on things... I haven't used peak but I mean as the program has a good eq, compressor/limiter, etc that gets the job done it's all good.

ok I se the problem I do audio on mac and you do it on a pc large difference...
the one 12 inch I mastered on a pc ended up sounding like mud... but that was just the guy who was doing it and not the pc how ever ever since then I have refused to use plug ins to do mastering with... on pc or mac

oh I never master my own material...
unless its a demo or prematering touch ups I usually ship that stuff off to someone else to do only becasue I cant hear what others hear in my music.. :)
