Networking Question + Old Pc

we managed to hook up the ibook and a pc to a network
now i am wondering can i hook up my compaq 486 25 mhz windows 3.1 machine (spare your mockery!) can i run a network card (isa of course) on this network to do basic text browsing on the internet, etc. also does anyone know anywhere where i can get old accessories for this compaq 486 25 mhz (I am thinking a network card, sound card, cd rom,etc.) and where i acn exchange say a CD burner and a sb live oem for such things... any help appreciated! |

3.1 and mac's are completely incompatible on a network.. you could possibly do something with ftp tho..
or maybe IPX, but that's be a real pain in the ass. |

oh, yeah fer sure.
just plop an eithernet card in there and set it up for LAN internet.. all will be good. |

I got my isa network card,
and soundblaster 32 for dirt cheap I will attempt to log on with my 486 tonight |
