Depo Provera has not been in effect long enough to determine its long-term side effects. its a high dose of what is in normal birth control pills. what it does is it stops your mentrual cycle - completely. you dont get your period, or anything. in most cases, women's libido was lowered DRASTICALLY cause their bodies dont secret the pheromones that they normally would during ovulation.
also, stopping your body from doing something that it does every month, and is supposed to do, seems entirely wrong to me. |
