i think the question is - do you *really* wanna put your health on the line for something to save a few bones even tho you might think the place is safe?

if you're going to do some kind of body mod, be responsible enough to go to a reputable place. dont go somewhere just because their price is $20 cheaper or you "buy 1 get the 2nd free"

than again hey, if you want HIV or HEP C, thats yr choice!

Thanks for your help, i did come back hehe i couldnt resist. I checked out Superock out of curiosity today, they dont do webbings, and the place looks shitty. I also went to Tatouatouage who is very cheap. I think he said 60$ plus tax with the jewlery and 20 or 25$ if i have my own but i gotta bring it to him a day in advance for him to sterilize it. A friend of mine who knows her piercings, you may know her, her name is Sharlene a.k.a Candy, told me to go to Imago with her on friday. She says its pretty cheap there but a little out of my way. I dont like adrenaline but this Tatoo Time place intrigues me. Whats the adress?

I hate Adrenaline. They pierced my monroe really badly. It didn't get infected (cuz thats something that i took care of) but they pierced it crooked and I got a huge cancer on my gum, it just scraped off all the skin way high up above my teeth. Bastards.

i do not envision me getting a piercing.
Foreign objects on my body will get in the way of physical activities. ; i.e boxing.

but yea. just ask for the artist portfolio
and scope out his work.. ask for reference.
TALK to artist.. see if he/she and you are at ease. See if he is really into his work.

They have to sterilize it. That's why you should go to a place that knows what they're doing. Sterilizing something is a lot more than just putting it in rubing alcohol or baxadin for 5 seconds.

i cant really say anything about their piercing but i can say stick styled steel's bone and horn jewlery for stretched ears are fabulous and relatively inexpensive.

yay horns.

Slick's is cheap because their jewellery is externally threaded crap that comes from korea. it has to be 316LVM surgical steel, not just any surgical steel.

Adrenaline? clean? yeah, with their nice porous wood walls and everything... mmhmm.

I just tried doing it myself. The hole i made was too small for the thing i have. Its pretty fucking hard manoeuvering under your own tongue in front of a mirror. Needless to say, i think i will go look for someone else to do it tomorrow. Perhaps even a piercing salon! oooooooooo
