As I said, Adrenaline is the only exception to the rule of thumb as far as selling oddities goes. They're really clean there.
Theres only two people I trust with my piercings, I wouldnt go to any other places other than Black Sun and Adrenaline. |

i got my lip done at adrenaline and the guy kinda fucked up. he told me to clean it like 2 or 3 times more than i should and he pierced it on an angle so that i can't really wear a stud cause you can see the back part. kinda gay but that's ok cause i'll always wear a ring anyway. yeah it was the guy with the cowboy hat and the glasses and the 2 lip rings on each side. nice guy but fucked up my lip, he also gave me a ring at first that was ridiculously huge, it flopped from side to side. he said my lip would swell but not to the size of my thumb for fuck's sake.
they also overcharge. adrenaline = boo slick styled steel = yay |

THat place on St-denis.. Tatoo a tout age or something.
It's decent. Ask for Laurent but get your hardware elsewhere for cheaper. |

a lot of my friends have gotten pierced @ slick
decent pricing, no infections but i mean if you take care of your piercing, you shouldn't have an infection. |

yeah ive been to slick style steel before and its really expensive they charge like 100$ for your tongue.. i can only imagine how much the webbing will be...
maybe you can go to the plce i got my peircings.. you can buy the jewlery yourself and they will disinfect it for you.. and its not pricey either... |

You know ALL peircings/tattoo places are the same. They've all acquired THE SAME liscence and have passed THE SAME safety/health inspection enabling them to stick a needle in someones skin. Just because a person's tattoo or peircing gets infected doesn't mean it's the parlour or artists fault, it's just that the person's body is more prone to bacteria otherwise the parlour would NOT BE in existance. As for prices, there are merchands out there (like any other) who try and apparently succeed in sucking people people in by making them believe that the higher the price, the better the quality when the reality is that each stud or needle only costs them about 2$ a piece and they ALL come in sterilized packaging. |

so cherie-
what you are basically saying is that, say, Super Rock and Black Sun are equivalent in quality, knowledge and cleanliness? |

Pretty much, I've had more piercings than I have fingers and toes not to mention 4 tattoos one of them as big as a man's fist. Some were done at the most "recommended" places and some were done at the "shittiest" places and they all turned out fine. The nicer the establishment, the bigger the work crew and clientel not to mention experience is what builds a parlours reputation. However in the end they're effectively all the same. |

The quality might be fine, but the cleanliness might not be. Some places don't have bad reps for a no reason. I recall one particular friend who has a tattoo horror story done at a place we all know that is called Iris.
They all pass the same qualifications, they all get checked by a supervisor, but it dosen't mean that they maintain the cleanliness inbetween said visits. |
