From my personnal experience, you can reach the same altered state without drugs though. |

| Coolness: 179330 | I don't know, from what I have seen, people who do stuffs in excess tend to get jaded of that stuff after a while.
Like, they go raving every weekend for a year or two, and after they're all jaded and don't know how to have fun in parties. It's their own stuff, but I find it's better to avoid excesses so you can enjoy stuffs for a longer time ;) Everything is about balance I guess. |

WHoever you know that got like that is unfortunate and maybe never knew the joy of "partying" in the first place. I just wanted to add that in. | Coolness: 686275 | IMO, raving every weekend, with or without drugs, doesn't make people jaded.. It's finding out how corupt so many people within the scene are. Since you're exposed to it more often than if you go once in a while, you see shit and get to know people's personality and realise that 99% of the people you meet are not as nice as they may seem at first, and that most people who are "in it for the music" are really in it for drugs, money and recognition, and have no problem stepping all over anyone who gets in their way. |

People are assholes, and everyone has an agenda, and not all of them are good and friendly. |
