Last night I was looking through all my old stuff and happened upon a suuuper old tape (like Rave-o-lution or something like that) so I popped it in my stereo. Then I proceeded to purge tonnes of old shit i cling on to for no reason, including a gigantic bag FULL of fluorescent candy braclettes. It was quite an EMOtional experience, kissing those days goodbye, I almost cried. |

Out of the 50+ tetris remixes, 2 were good.
The rest were little kids in their basement thinking they'd get laid by making 'rave music' |

well we had almost 2 rooms FULL of stuff and we could really use the space for better things, so that's why my parents decided to either throw things or give them away.
we put all our barbies in a garbage bag to be moved downstairs years ago- and my dad thought it was garbage and accidently threw them out (and we had a MILLION and all the accesories in the world)- so that was already alot worse than throwing out stuff now (purposely). i dunno- they're thing's we'll likely never use again- like we have a collection of POG- what am i ever going to do with that? it was cool in grade 1, but now it just takes up space.. if it were up to me i'd keep it all- then again, i feel good knowing that i can let go of my past.. |

Exactly Little Sarah!! Its about being able to let go. I have a big box of stuff I will never ever throw out, and in it I shall keep the beaded necklace with the suss on it, the only tangible remainder of my candy days. Its important to keep little tokens of the good days but we have to let go of the bulk, i think for me anyways, it lets me move forward.
And the tupperware organiser I have of beads and strings- that will be given to some little girl who will thouroughly enjoy using them! |

i threw out everything. I do it like once a year. I always have nothing to look back on, but a few pictures. The past isn't important to me, but the present and future are. |

Know your roots because I would be one of those who would debate that it is the very begining of it all....... 0] I am such a fucking nerd sometimes. 8o |

they had synthesizers way before the 80's, it was just in the 80's that they became affordable (like the dx7, which was the first really good digital synth, I think it cost 3000$ when it came out, that was cheap. The first samplers could hold like 2 seconds of sound and cost 10,000$ or more) |
