if people get out their frustrations by damaging bus stuff.. it is going to cost us more. Our taxes pay for the buses, so if you wreck a bus stop it's your money that goes to pay for it.

And if someone lights up a cigarette on a bus I will punch them in the face. I hate that shit. It's bad enough that we will have to put up with bad service, but don't make it worse for everyone by being a child.

not only would our taxes be affected, but there would be fare increases to cover damages.

Haven't read the rest of the thread.

But Government is cutting funds to Public transport next year.

This is going to get ridiculously stupid.

You're right...the cigarettes are a bad idea. Also, the only people who really feel the effects of vandalizing bus shelters are the poor shlumps waiting for the bus. And the rest of us who have to pay more for a ticket.
Instead, lets start a movement of reverse socialism and attack the Unions. They haven't done any good since the worker movements at the turn of the century and while they may have served a purpose at one time and may have had the best intentions in mind, like communism and organized religion, it has fallen into irrelevance and abuse by a few.

I'm lucky because I only need the buses and metros when they're actually working. Except for Saturday. Debating taking the car but Ill have to keep putting my customers on hold to feed the meter. Blaaah.

On the upside, on the metro I got to be squished up next to a really hot guy. Woohoo!

we should make a bigass mess in the metro's and buses, since the maintenence workers are the ones that have to clean up that shit afterwards.

They're mad at their management, so they take it out on the general public?! FUCK THEM. I would so love to have a list of home address' and phone numbers of the people on strike.

everyone who's angry at the workers, your all idiots.

be angry at the fucking GOVERNMENT for a) cutting down funding for STM b) not giving the maintenance a proper raise (when the maintenance are some of the only people who do something)

and how are you people critizing the bus drivers, they have to sit in one spot all day, driving a bus back and forth, they're job sucks, let them get this pay, it's people like telemarketers that don't need to be making nice money.

ian:
they do the passing by honking thing to put metros away- i've seen it at berri after morning rush hour- they honk by and then go into some secret tunnel empty- they were probably just putting the metros back where they go.

and i'm with mini- it SOX coz i start at 10 and i'm gonna have to be there at like 9. originally they wre supposed to stop ALL service at 9 and 6 and 11- but now they made it so that the last metro (from both ends leave at those times) which isn't that bad (for my 5:30 and 6 classes i don't have to stress) but when i start at fuckin 12 and have to be there at 9 i'm gonna be the worlds most bitter person ever... *grrr*
