yeah it's a souped rm1x
will render my sampler useless and it costs too friggin' much maybe i can find some of those viets that pull credit card scams... that omni dude was getting rid of his rm1x for 600$ in an old ravemontreal thread |

i used to have a yamaha qy300 sequencer...it was awesome. i miss it. it had some shite onboard general midi sounds...but i used to mianly to sequence my little akai s20 sampler. both were stolen in one fell swoop from my old place - everything was in a knapsack....
ive seen one in a pawnshop for like 300. its not very techno (unlike the rmx1) but it can do pretty intricate sequencing. the guy i bought it off of used it to back up his ukranian keyboard playing. now im all computer but i wish that wasn't the case sometimes. there is also the qy700 which has a colour display and almost cubase-style tracks layout. its way more expensive though and kind of tries to be a computer.....good ruck! |

not too shabby
to tell you the truth if i see one of those at a decent price online or some random shop i'll probably snatch one up i should start calling a bunch of studios; they usually take good care of their gear |

My RM1x is still for sale and it is indeed a good sequencer for someone that dreams of a computer-less production setup. ;) |
