nVidia is better than AVI. AVI has HORRIBLE drivers, absolutely HORRIBLE.
Expecting AVI cards to work the way they are supposed to is like asking Ian to code HTML properly. It just wont ever happen. |

Yeah, ok. I am officially dismissing anything you EVER say from now on. You're LESS than a fucking clueless moron if you think the nvidia cards are good.
Christ, a box full of rocks with all the smart rocks taken out has more of a clue than you do. Why don't you just shut the fuck up and move away like a good little fucktard. |

A piece of equipment is only as good as its driver. If a computer can't talk to a peripheral properly, then what good is it?
nVidia drivers are much more stable, are updated more often, and more compatible with other peripherals then AVI drivers. |

First off, fix your keyboard, it's ATI.
And second, ATI's drivers have improved a lot since the day of the RAGE drivers. The radeon drivers are more stable, updated at least once every 2 months, and are fully DX9 compliant. The only "fault" that there has been in a long time with the Catalyst drivers is on the last update (3.8, 3.9 came out like 2 days ago) is that a few brands of monitors would go black for 5 minutes on the first reboot, and people thought that their system was killed so they'd reboot before the drivers had a chance to patch everything, so they'd reboot and it would try again and leave them with a blank screen for 5 mins, then they'd just be fucktards and reinstall. Nvidia, hmmmm.. Let's see... The nForce chipset is being phased out of motherboards due to poor performance, they got dumped by Microsoft for making shitty cards that don't do what they say they do (M$ went with ATI for the Xbox2), they put in specific code in their old drivers that would fool 3DMarks into thinking the card did better than it actually did. Here, take this penny and go buy yourself a clue/ |

that whole MS/ATI is just marketing.
Infact, a lot of benchmark testing is just engineered. Kinda like the G5 vs. AMD 64bit procs benchmarks. The R300 arch. that powers the latest ATI's is native to DX9. The GeForceFX was a mistake, blahblahblahblah. nVidia drivers are still better than ATI's. You've just fallen into ATI's propaganda and engineered benchmark tests :) ATI is basically saying, hardware performance, hardware performance! nVidia says mix of hardware and driver performance. nVidia would be correct. Without good driver performance, a peripheral will not be used to its fullest extent, thus defeating its purpose. And don't forget. nVidia has made a few mistakes in the past, but then realized what they did wrong, then killed everyone by surprise. They are already working on a brand new card, which is why the GeforceFX is still $200 more expensive than the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, but I would rather get a Ti 4400 then a Radeon and just wait for nVidia's nextgens |
