I'd go but I got a cottage in the cantons... so that's where I'm going.
Did I mention I had a cottage? So you're all invited at my cottage, in the cantons, to ski.. or snowboard. |

If anybody tries to teach Jeff how to snowboard:
GOOD LUCK. As an experienced rider for 9 years, even *I* had a hard time teaching you :P |

i stuck with you for like, 2 hours, then you did one run by yourself.
then you gave up and went into the chalet. i didnt think it was possible to get such a big bump on my shin from yr snowboard ramming into my leg. then again, sauveur rents out the WORST boards, boots + step ins. those things are not meant to learn on. they should have never been invented in the first place. wasnt there a fire on the hill that night? |

if you're going to be serious about it, get yourself a half decent set up. I'm a devout Burton rider, and they make quality boards. They aren't exactly the cheapest, but performance-wise, in my experience, they are the best...and they LAST. I might have a Burton '01 Feelgood (which is a women's board) for sale this year. I paid $750 for the board itself (w/o bindings) and I'm willing to let it go for a half decent price.
Forum boards, Jeenyus boards, and Salomon boards are all good picks too. Dont go to a board shop and ask them what will do, they will rip you off no doubt and get you to buy a pricey set up. If you are a beginnier, you shouldn't be paying more than $500 (if that) for your setup. |

Oh I'm so down with that
I got a new board and can't wait to try that baby out Jeff this is gonna be one FUN winter and hey, if you don't manage to snowboard by the end of january.. there's always the "hide behind the pine trees and shoot snowboarders with paint balls" game we'll see who's gonna laugh the last mouhahahhaha don't fuck with the horde or the horde will fuck you up |
