.... why?

thing that pisses me off so much is anytime i try using outlook, msn pops up and logs on.

which then kills my trillian connection, which btw still works even though MS said they'd kill any clone connections..

do like i do and have a garbage i-never-check-it-and-have-noone-on-it account associated with your messenger.

or disable it altogether using registry and file tweaking but some shit uses it here and there

Wether or not you use Trillian, when you start outlook, unless you've turned off the option, MSN will load and log you in.

1. In Outlook Express, click Tools, and choose Options.
2. Go to the General Tab and clear the "Automatically log on to Windows Messenger" box.
3. Click OK.

especially in MS products..

it seems as though all the options they give you are always badly placed or badly phrased so you don't see it or don't know what it does..
