| I got a $.50 coin yesterday, and apparently they're slowly gonna eliminate pennies too...
what does everyone think?
i think everything is gonna be rounded up and everyone ripped off.. what are we gonna do with a .50 coin? what's wrong with 2 quarters? at least you can use tha fone with them.. |

its called the diferent means the governemnt will go through in order to make people spend more money without realizing, hence the 2 dollar coin and 1 dollar coin... people spend coin money more freely then paper money. i guess reinserting the 50 cent coin might make people spend more money... |

| i have heard of the idea of eliminating pennies before. if this was to be successful, all prices would be whole numbers. for example. instead of 99 cents, something would be a dollar. after tax instead of paying $1.14, you'd pay $1.15, hence eliminating four pennies in change and getting a nickel back instead. get it? i like this idea but it would have to implemented everywhere. |
