Massive Gas Leek In Old Montreal

 Coolness: 239335 | this morning while doing my runs...i was sent into old montreal to smell natural gas in the air. By the sight where the main had been broken you coulkd hear the gas come screaming out. The police & fireman where working hard to contain the stuff and the crowd. I made damn sure to light up a smoke well away from the area. I think they closed down the metro for abit and the power in the area just in case. Things got back to normal by 2 pm or so.

 Coolness: 60395 | the leak was at the palais de congres. i work two blocks from there at the td bank and my building was evacuated from about 10 am until 2:15.
i got to work at 11:30 and i found out that we were being treated to lunch at the cage aux sports until we could re-enter the building. pretty sweet day. |
