but if the person doesn't want to be with you- why would you possibly want to be with them?? it would definately be a waste of your time
why would you NOT want to move on from someone who wouldn't want to be with you or appreciate you for everything you are?

it's not that she doesn't want to be with me, it's that she can't.
we bring out the best and the worst in each other. and we haven't figured out how to not bring out the worst in each other. and so we shouldn't be together.

thanks for the invite seb, i might take you up on it later this week.

pain is not knowledge...pain is pain...now the knowledge of pain is more complex. We shall all become more familiar with that topic with each day when we die a little more, some more than others.

well why would you want to be with someone who brings out the worst in you? instead of being so pessimistic look at the good sides of all of this.
you might find the best in yourself when you're not with her, and you might find someone who ONLY brings out the best in you and not the worst.
and it's not because she 'can't', it's because she chooses not to- there's alwyas a hoice, and if she feels it's the best choice and you see why- then accept it and live your life.

Don't forget the old overused saying: It is better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all.

Basically, try and remember the best parts of what you had and they will always be with you. Eventually, you will move on.. It might feel as if it will not happen but it does, suddenly it just won't bother you as much.

the problem is that these days people are too quick to say "love". people fail to realise the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone.

once you've fallen in love with someone, and i mean REALLY fallen in love, it will never die. you can't tell someone you love them in all honesty and then decide a few weeks/months/years later that you were wrong. to "love" someone is to love them forever regardless of changes, circumstances, fights, blah blah blah.

and thats how it should be.

what we have is love. we've had it for close to three years now. we still love each other.

i think she's the most incredible girl in the world, and i think a lot of people here who know her would agree that she's special.

we want to be together, we just have issues that we need to work out.

thanks for the advice and words everyone, it's much appreciated.

four things in life we must fulfill: flags. flax. fodder and frigg.

(the roof over your head. the clothes on your back. the food in your belly. and a good scew once in a while)

when i'm down, i like to go to the gas station, inhale some of that gassy fume goodness, to sterilize the bad nerves, and then i stick the tire filler up my nose, and blow all the bad omens out my head...it's like drycleaning
