 Coolness: 50210 | I dont think its any thing other then its a work night or a school night that keeps folks from comming out during the week. its the same in every city Ive ever lived in I mean fuck when i lived in san fran statik with resident artists/djs like twerk, saftety sissors, kit klayton and the honerable sutekh used to have the same problem.
adam marshal and jacob fairlys weekly in toronto same deal how ever all the people who threw weekend weeklies, monthlys or one offs had a packed house .. I think it has more to do with the time of the week that these things happen rather then the assmption that everyone isnt interested in it. its what I have been tring to tell steve al along lets get a saturday night techno thing happening and gureeenteed it will go off... people love small intimate venues with a cheap cover over going to the huge ass techno emporiums... I mean fuck ive been back for a little overa year now and I still havent steped foot in aria... no matter who is playing... why simple reason Im not interested in a huge over priced lame event... how ever if there was a small intimate low cost alternative to go to or play at i would be there every week... and not this lame pub techno shit Im talking about shake your fucking ass techno type of deal... |

| Coolness: 146110 | I thought the same and saturdays would be perfect. Fridays for techno, no can do. Can't compete with after-hours but saturdays...there's nothing on saturdays. People could even pre-party and then go to whatever other party there is that night, no? Makes lots of sense to me. |
