help....
ok i'm officially reinstalling hte system in liek half an hour.... any other suggestions welcome |

go to 'control panel'
go to 'system' click on 'device manager' click the plus on 'universal serial bus controllers' right-click on one that says 'usb root hub' or something similar.. click the 'power management' tab uncheck 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' repeat for as many usb root hubs you have listed (on my computer there are 5, it can vary a lot depending on how many ports you have) Restart the computer... That sometimes works for some usb related problems |

my computer dosn't even seam to recongnize there are any USB ports ven though i have like two on the motherboard plus four others. in device manager there isn't even a 'universal bus controllers'. |
