Montreal Always Getting Snubbed

given the population of Canada in comparison to the population of the USofA...
lets say a band tours the US and plays 50 dates... there is no way that they are going to play more than 3 shows in Canada. and whats even worse is that usually they'll go to Toronto and not even bother coming to Montreal, so it's like doubly unfair. anyway, i don't know what this has to do with anything but it pisses me off and i felt like venting. |

People who don't spend their whole life trying to be more pretentious than other people? |

so bjork didn't go to TO...
i feel honored to have been able to pay 57$ to NOT even catch a glimpse of her, but hey at least the firdeworks were pretty. i was talking about IMPORTANT bands and groups and acts, etc.... ok ok bjork is important but if you kept track of all the shit that happened in Toronto but not here you'd have a fucking impressive list... |

the rolling stones concert was a result of a desease that killed 44 people in toronto heh.
It also set the city back many millions of dollars, and didn't do much to boost tourism anyways. It was a pointless non-cost effective show that didn't even get picked up by american media say for a few shots on CNN. other than that, lots of big acts come to montreal and toronto. Sometimes they go to toronto only, and some times they goto montreal only. Its often balanced, except for Edgefest, which sucks anyways |

i was just referring to shows in general...
kira, irini is a smart woman but more like booksmart and less like people smart, so i don't think that her judgement of you afterknowing you for 1 semester is necessarily 100% accurate. i don't find you pretentious because you are smart enough to judge people and speak with authority. and my computer is still broken... i'm at work. |

Yeah, but I caught that. :) It was great, seeing Drowning Pool less than a year before Dave Williams died. |

Oh.. i heard this amazing new band called SARS stopped by TO and they liked it so much that they decided to stay there for a month or two.. unfortunately, 40 die-hard fans lost their lives in the mosh-pit |
