you can pull out some nice square basses with junglist vst. but dont use the presets they suck, youre better off making your own. Mercury has some good ones too

i havent even tried using junglist vst...just because its called junglist. Ill give it a shot.

just take a 2xOsc synth, use the pulse formation, widen the sound a bit with the fine tuning, pass it through quad fromage (filtering plugin), pass it through an EQ maybe, and voila.

I use the Elevata' by redsound, for those type of bass tounds. i recently got it for a very good price.
on another note, i created this crazzy type of digital feedback using only my mixer and oldskool reel to reel recorder. it's a really nice thick sound, very flexible~

I use reason for most of my truncating, sequancing needs, i'm not fully impressed with it's bassline creatablitlitys...
