altho vintagesynth is quite outdated and always overprices the equipment. things are normally 75% of the price on there

My brother's had this thing for ever. Finally hooked up the midi and he's playing Absynth with it. It's never sounded better. :)

casiotones are the ish!
I had a casio synth that had a step sequencer and drum sounds from the famed rz-1 (which i also had and sold to some guy in vancouver) - the synth had the famed phase distortion synthesier engine - casio's take on FM
I love synths, sample playbacks, etc really i do

I agree. You need to be creative and to be able to get the sound you want out of your gear. Tons of people refuse to listen to my music because I make it with fruity loops, because they have some sort of prejudice towards it and they figgure that everything will sound the same and will sound like fruityloops. But it has nothing to do with what you use to make the music, it's all about what you do with what you have.

Hell, Concord Dawn uses Fruity Loops and they've got some of the best sounding tracks I've heard.

From what I remember, when they came to montreal, they told Galaksy that's what they used.

Fruity loops can make very decent music...
i used to use it, until someone gave me reason...
i just tried out whatever the newest verion of fruity loops is, and they've added alot of things...

the three drum & bass tracks i have in my music folder were made by a kid i know who's 15, it's all made on fruity loops, and i was quite impressed with alot of his stuff...

but there is alot of crap out there on fruity loops
