Well there are certainly people doing research on it.

a program can't find a file, it asks you for it

expand on that idea

I dare you...

.............

uhh ok?

lets be so unspecific that you're the only one who knows what you're talking about.

hahaha

is that supposed to make me somehow feel dumb? that i don't get what you're trying to say?
honnestly now, it doesn't take an intelligent person to confuse someone with non-descript comments.

i can easily say:

hot dog walked the park bouncy.

this means..... what?

no dropping out of dawson should make you feel dumb though.

Well it's kind of funny that you drop out of dawson (which should have been super easy) and enroll in a school that would not only be harder, but also more expensive.

.... and?

i find this very interesting how this thread has degraded from being about AI to being some kind of personal attack on me..

what does MY logic have to do with anything.

it has a lot more to do with computer logic, and how intelligence has a good deal of illogical though.

Reconfigurable Computing is probably just as completely unuseable as quantum computers will be, and as impossible as AI.

Can i ask you how you would go about getting a computer to have it's own thoughts? would you use a random number to decide it's way?

you seem to think throwing information at a computer will make it think on its own..

Every thought you make is a reaction of some sort. It's all just proecssing information. Just a diffrent kind of information.

2 + 2 = 4

==

street going N/S + White arrow pointing south = don't drive north

You take information, and process it. Even emotions are nothing but chemical reactions triggering diffrent reigions of the brain the same way an equation triggers diffrent parts of a CPU to work in certain ways.

ah, ok.. this is where you tell me that you can logically explain how the human brain works.. right?

fact is no one of this planet knows for sure how the human brain works in any detail.

all we know is general stuff about how the brain functions. we're able to guess a person's reaction, but we cannot guarrantee a guess.

Ok
enough of this crap

Mr Neoform

We've explained to you why AI can exist, but you haven't given us a good explanation of why AI can't exist, so please lets hear it.
