on august 28 the planet mars will have reach a point in its orbit in which it will appear the same size of the moon. basically nobody for the last 60 000 yrs has seen this phenomena, so at like 12:30pm on august 28 it will reach its orbital peak and sit beside the moon just like the moon but red n brighter. i bet sum other crazy shit might happen.

there is no way it will be bigger than the moon, but it will be bright enough to notice if you look in the right part of the sky. I'm sure it would look awesome with a telescope.

Yeah you can easily see it in the evening skies ..

Not so long ago that was Jupiter that we could see, but now it clearly is MARS ..

ok... its not that big a deal..
mars will never visible to the human eye beingas big as the moon... it will just be clearly visible, like twice the size of a star and just a bit below the moon...

every few months a new planet is visible without a telescope... its just that this time MArs will be nearly imposible to miss

with a good pair of binoculars, you cna make out some features of mars including the polar ice caps.

But other than that, Mars will just be a glowing red star to the left of the moon.
