Get Kingston ram, and get 512. 256 will do fuck all for you.

Review of the motherboard here, sounds pretty decent.

Graphic card, go for a 9600 pro or all in wonder, the 9000 are priced low because of how shitty they are and their about to be phased out of the market.

More than anything, I cannot specify enough, GET BETTER RAM! BETTER RAM!

Even if you take only 256 and not 512 (which is VERY retarded considering ram prices) go for Kingston ram first, Corsair if you can't get kingston. Don't settle for any other brands.

Im not putting all my cash into this, my car awaits!

Seriously though, 650$ is enough for now, ill upgrade my ram later on... Im not a gamer, and even if i was I hear that the 9000 128mb is sweet.

Thanks for your input tho fred.

Dude, fuck the car for 2 weeks. Get better quality ram. You don't need to be a gamer to not want your system crashing and being unstable because the chips can't handle your FSB speed or because the chips can't handle a good data throughput.

As for the 9000, the 9000 PRO is just an OC'ed 8500 with more ram.

Just get better ram or I will be forced to make fun of you and kick you in the shins every time I see you. With the ram prices these days, you have NO excuse for not getting the most reliable ram on the market.

My xp2200 is damn smooth. I just hate the heat output.

Now, to get around to OCing it once I get a real cooler...
