its for geo-political resons... easy access to syria and iran havent you noticed the threats the US has been making to Iran and Syria lately? now that theyre closeby, they expect them to comply to any any US threat... (which they probably wont and thereby cause more war) the oil-war theory is quite unlikely, unless you look at it from the long-term persepective (and i mean REALLY long term)... once the US has the Mid-East subdued (long time from now, if ever)... only then can the oil profits really come in... that they control Iraq is useless in terms of oil prices... yeah... Israel's foreign policy pisses me off, but they were never a foothold in the Mid-East for the US... if anything its the other way around... the US is a foothold for Israel in North Amreica... the US has been Israels bitch since before i was born... |
