i've never lost a fish... i guess for people who dont really know what theyre doing it's tough to keep some nice fish (like the powder brown tang, which usually dies like after a week)... but yeah, thats true.... all the people i sell my fish to somehow manage to kill them cuz theyre idiots... the pH is right around 8 |

Who difficult is manintenance? Right now i have a sedement problem...i end up syphoning my tank way too often. Also my ocinticulus has a true fungal infection. errr |

i find there arent any really nice freshwater fish... and also coral are out of the question the maintenance is pretty easy... theres almost none.. i have good equipment that keeps the water clean, and i have cleaner shrimp and starfish to keep the tank and the sand clean... sediment problem you say... hmm... in a freshwater tank... im not sure, but i suppose you just need to clean out your filters and/or get new carbon for the filter... maybe your pump is damamged and isnt moving the stuff around to reach the filter... and as for the fungal infection... theres plenty of commercially available products you can use to help... but the sediment problem is possibly causing it and proper nutrition helps in most cases too... |

it usually results from an excess of nitrites or ammonia... (apparently it IS the same as saltwater) or it could be that one of you fish is bullying another one and cutting him... in which case the sediment problem is just adding to teh problem |

| Coolness: 174805 | Well the pair of ocinticulus swim with vigor around the tank...and im sure they either collide with the rocks or drift wood.
The annomia level was checked and the results were optimal. Maybe i just feed them too many blood worms, flakes and pellets. Right now im using Maroxy for the true fungal infection. And there are some nice fresh water fish :P |
