1 - to each thier own software preferences (whatever inspires you)
2 - a sequencer is a sequencer (it should about the samples you make/use, not the software) 3 - you smell like hippie 4 - Don't dis the latest version of Reason untill you have indulged. Sure it has no VST support, but It can do stuff that other software / hardware cannot do, such as controlling any effects/ devices using gates which is even cooler than before thanks to its gate splitter + merger. and lots of other stuff that I don't have time to list at the moment. |

I insult reason because it is the macintosh of audio software. Little support, hard to use, can't be easily customized/configured, can't use third party software. |

Well, fuck, we could sit here listing pro's and con's for years, like a lame M.R.E. teacher, OR we could get some of our important work done in hopes of it paying off in the end~ |

reason works great with rewire if want to use it with cubase.
and the interface is more akin to midi sequencing software than the unintuitive weird interface in fruityloops or the difficult tracker interface in buzz... So it's a much more logical stepping stone for someone who wants to learn how to use sequencers. |

Yup, it's fairly accurate to the real gear.
which is also why I like it, cuz all my training was done on analog gear. |
