Yeah,
Well obviously that looks like a decent machine, but since the guy prolly knows about hardware, there's no question about the validity of the package. The only reason I would ask if I should buy this is if I: a:) Wondered about the price it was being offered at or b:) Look at me! I'm getting a new toy and please tell me I'm cool. Knowing Mike, I figured it's be A.

if it's higher than 2grand which it most likely is, you're gettin screwed but go ahead it's a good computer for an insane price. you get those specs even better for on pc for like 1000$

yeah, that's about a $1200-$1500 PC, anything more than that you're getting ripped off.

I mean if the hardware can run mac OS, but someon still buy the mac version for double the price. And that after MAC themselves have admitted that they have NOTHING on pc. Since they changed their platform and design to mimic a pc.

Isn't not being able to right-click worth $1000? :)

mac mouse not being able to right click is so 2005 :P
like on any platforms you choose, there are options you can customize for your style, like having 2 buttons on the mouse is now available on macs too! /me waiting for the smart mouth who will tell me "yeah but on PC you can have more than 2 buttons on a mouse"!

yeah but on PC you can have more than 2 buttons on a mouse!
also, being able to repair your computer when it has a problem, instead of having to buy a whole new one, is an interesting enough advantage :)

true ! im not debating on wich of the 2 is better, since i work 40 hours+ with a pc and love it, and at home I have my mac since 2 years and love it as much!
though saying that mac sucks because of the 1 click button is no good anymore ;)

I always get the extended warranty... when you pay 2000$+ for a machine, you want repairs to be free for a long time

$2000+ for that is an outright scam.. maybe if it came with 12 gigs of ram and a 24" screen.. for $2000 you can make a computer that will shit all over those specs.

You know, you're right, because if I were to buy a machine for 2000$+ with better specs than that, the only thing I could run would be Windows, which would virtually SHIT all over the specs. you're exagerating though right? I mean, can you even get specs better than that these days?

more ram, a Crossfire/SLI setup, more 2TB Sata drives for more storage, hell for 2000$ you could throw in a RAID card or two, double up (or more) the SSD to have it run/boot even faster.
