that's what i did but it was weird, when i went in bed i was wide awake after being exhausted all day. i freaked out lol i managed to sleep a few hours after that, i thought i would just pass out as soon as my head hit the pillow
It begs the question : why do you stay up so bad ?
Otherwise unless you're addicted to it, try any DAYTIME cold medicine like Tylenol. That shit is like a taser set to the lowest setting constantly applied to your balls. Seems to work for me.
After raving on the weekends I will not sleep during the day once I get home. I will stay up until 22:45HRS when I have my "Prep for sleep at 23:00HRS" alarm goes off. Brush teeth, work out, get into sleep-wear, then crawl into bed for 23:00HRS. Wake up with my work-schedule for 05:00 even if it's the weekend. If it's weekend though I'll have a 09:00HRS alarm called "Don't waste your day sleeping" since I know I'll miss a lot of productive time and will be be over-tired AGAIN.
the prep-for-sleep alarm and having a pre-sleep ritual is a good idea. Every time I go to sleep, I put on the discography of Bohren & Der Club of Gore, starting with the album Black Earth, so even if I'm not tired, I just put that on and I'm usually asleep within 2-3 tracks. It's almost a pavlovian conditioning lol
seriously some of the best and most relaxing/atmospheric music EVER!
no idea honestly, i'm just not tired and if i try to sleep i just lay in bed for hours so i figure i'm wasting my time laying in bed. i'm gonna try that next time though thanks ^^

Guru or Coffee to wake up, weed to go to sleep, the cycle continues ... lacking coffee, I use pure willpower to stay awake, though I don't need much since being awake is a natural state for me (fuckin' insomnia) ... sleeping is the hard part xD
All in all, my clock is fucked, so I just do what is necessary when it's necessary ...
weed doesnt put everyone to sleep though. I rarely get insomnia but when I do, my solution is definitely not recommended for chronic insomniacs as it can develop dependency and lose it's efficiency: 50 or 75 mg of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride + a glass of vodka. Shit knocks you out.
