It's a little known fact, but typing in caps makes it easier for people to understand you.

Allow me to demonstrate

HI,
I AGREE WITH ALL OF YOU BUT I'D AGREE WITH YOU MORE IF YOU JOINED ME AT MY WEEKLY RAELIAN LOVE-SESSION. I SPREAD LOVE BY MAKING IT. YOU CAN TO!

see?

ha

this thread has been great..

me and my buddy god are sitting back, chillin', watching the game....he says Vancouver's gonna win but he's knocked back a few...

i am the power in my life...i make all of my choices..but

this incredible energy that i have in me comes from somewhere....and when i have my little powwows with the universe and god, i know the energy flows from us...we are one, i'm a conduite...

If i created the energy myself, when i died, that energy would die with me....but it doesn't...it gets recycled

I was brought up catholic; of course my parents were neglecting church attendance. Thus making my faith in Christianity weak, perhaps it was meant to be that way. Along the path of my life I always felt an affinity with nature, thus drawing me towards earth based religions. I never read any books on Wicca on how I should act, or how I must follow certain beliefs, or I shall be cast into damnation. In my research I gathered pieces I needed to enhance my life, and I became a better person with the exploration of myself, with the guidance that I obtained from the mother goddess.
Now I may be Wiccan, but I do not cast spells every time I need something done. I have very rarely even dabbled in the practices of magick. I've had no need too; my attempt at understanding life itself has nothing to do with material gain, but with self-improvement towards becoming a better person. If my life falls, I don’t raise my fists to the sky cursing the gods, but I come to the understanding that to grow I must experience.

Spooky maybe Satanism works for you, which I have no problem with. But how can you stand righteously casting down other religions. The point of faith is not to criticize others, but to improve your own life.

Kira please hug me instead :)

How do you judge improvement tho -
I've never quite understood that concept. Improvement relative to what? It's cool to explore who we are and build our own understanding of the world around us, but I have trouble with the concept of rating things in terms of good and bad, different degrees of quality and all that. Still, this forum isn't well suited for waxing philosophy...

It's much more suited for recruiting cult members!
Are you and Elixir up for next weeks Raelian love session? As Raelians you get to wax philosophy in a proper enviroment while drinking a variety of alcoholic beverages before taking part in a most exquisite display of passion. Most Raelians are young, urban, and very good looking as well as sexually inventive. I'm sure you'll both find it to be a most gratifying experience. All sexual orientations, interests and preferences are accomadated as my particular Sub Sect of the Rael cult operates out of the House of Pleasure (TM) - where there's a room for every sin, and a time for every vice!

Afrokaboobie.
How can I honestly say "that religon has done nothing but divide"?
First, don't put words in my mouth saying that by my terms religon is of the masses, a religon can belong to one person if it has to be.
Yes, I agree that religon has UNITED many people around the world as any other hobbie would do in a group of friends. However, your talking like there is only one religon!! And i'm sure you know as well as I do that there more than Christianity, and Islam.
Yet, just think, one religon claims that it's god is the 'true and only deity, and anyother diety is fraud', that sure as hell sounds provocative to me, especialy if another religon says the same. Eh?
Just think of all the religous persecutions and segregation over time simply by difference of oppinion, caused by belif in some intangible being.
Whatever...

Not all of our members are urban, infact in recent months we've had a very large amount of suburbanites join. Yes, people from the 'burbs are joining the sect in record numbers, spreading my ideals of free love, decadence and philosophy among the quiet suburbs of north america.

I only mentioned it to emphasize our progressive approach to spirituality (though that isn't to say we can't accomodate the more conservative among us! We turn away no one, all are welcome)

Though I would never try to persuade you to join against your wishes Elixir, I do invite you to attend a meeting sometime just to see what we're all about. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised!

We offer so much to our members - my particular subsect of Raelianism caters to a person's emotional and physical wellbeing, providing people with comfort for all levels of their being! Sexually, Emotionally, Spiritually, Financially, we look out for our members.

And Redpill, I'm not familiar with your spiritual advisor. Rael and I had a falling out, so my brand isn't Raelianism perse, but a modified version of it. Perhaps you can introduce me to this Dionysos.

In any case, I hope to see you all eventually.
May we all have a very passionate week!

RAEL LOVES YOU
