@ Recoil:Yeah Suggested Price: 2499$
I'm feeling limouzine magazine right now.. |

wow .. though i don't use serato or whatever, i've been saying for months that they need to make a mixer with a lot of lines per channel, for CDJs, turntables, and soundcards. they finally did it! except for one thing that seems lame, only 2 phono lines .. o_O
i guess we only need 2 phono lines, but my idea was that if there was phono on every channel, then we could plug in the set-up as we wanted, y'know, to match the physical set-up: if on the table we had CD - TT - Mixer - TT - CD , then we could plug line channel 1, phono channel 2 & 3, line channel 4 ... or whatever variation, depending on where you put the gear on the table. oh well, still, a big step toward the future for mixers! it's about fucking time XD

Never heard of that mixer before Dave! How much ?? Looks good indeed, but like i said to wally, as cool the mixer can be, bar owners will still buy Pionneer gear for their club , or Allen & heath over a rane 68 or your cool mackie. The best would simply to have the traktor usb on every damn mixer;)

yea for sure, the majority will have a pioneer. I forget how much the mackie was going for now... prolly like 1200$ at least. Seems it's been discontinued already tho.

ya well I agree the 57SL is awesometown. I have a couple lottery tickets here that I haven't checked, so if they're good, then yes, yes I will buy a brand new 57SL. but if not, I'll just go with the 56.
before I got Traktor, I thought it over.. and decided that as cool as the built-in Serato is, having to bring your mixer to gigs to use it would be tedious... especially if you're playing in another city or country. so I went and got Traktor Scratch Pro at Long & McQuade, half price for 370 bucks. so the 56 is a great mixer, and I've seen them good condition used on craigslist for 500 bucks Update » recoil wrote on Mon Mar 14, 2011 @ 11:41am uh oh - I posted about the Rane TTM 56 on facebook and someone posted this:
