 Coolness: 88300 | I guess it probably has to do the the price of circles going up because of all the speculation about them on the stock market. 2010 hasn't been such a big year for the straight lines market. |

 Coolness: 686315 | I'd imagine it's because most mixers are linear, so doing the rotary is a special thing.. you need a totally different faceplate as well as the rotart pots and the knobs for them.. Producing things in smaller quantities costs more. |

 Coolness: 101260 | rotary is just more expensive cause its not something u sell all the time.. most good mixers will have the choice beetween both... u just take out the linear part and replace it by a rotary... theres really no change in sound quality or build quality...
it will more be used by psychedelic djs than others... personaly...ive never sold any..lol |

 Coolness: 141410 | I think quality sound grade rotary potentiometers are simply more expensive to manufacture... A friend of mine lended me a vestax that he moded himself to make it rotary... I wasnt to fond of it but i guess you sorta get used to it... Even when you wanna do fast cuts and all. |
