The ear fatigue is way slower with the semi-open ended than the closed ones and sound quality is WAY better. ya I have the 240s -> I recently installed a convenient hook for em =) 
they are good. to be honest I haven't had much with experience with high end studio headphones. the main reason I prefer using the Technics 1200s is because of the swiveling earpiece - I've been using them for as long as I've been DJing so I find the swivel earpiece easier for monitoring. and from my experience the Technics 1200s headphones sound good and are tough as hell. I treated mine pretty rough and they lasted for 5 years.. you can fold em up and toss em in a bag and not worry about breaking them, whereas other people have complained about the plastic molding on their Sony DJ headphones breaking.. that was never a problem with mine. |
