16 years of age is still pretty wrong... you're still a kid at 16 years old its fucked up to hook up with people way older than you at that age.
your maturity level is at a prime low and you'll either feel like shit about yourself after wards or get treated like shit after wards.
whats with age consent these days... geez

biological clock, ticking.
but some guys are ready to have kids when they're 20. some girls wait until they're 30 or even later to settle down.
we all have different things to live...

never say never... you're still young to take such engagements. you don't know what you'll be like in 10 years, do you? i've seen people change their minds a lot about kids.

girls can get pregnant at about 11-13 years old... disgusting I know... but their bodies are physically ready. men on the other hand can ejaculate on the other hand like anytime... they usually figure it out at about that same age though...
if there weren't so much stigma as there is, and if we weren't living as long as we are, you'd all be married with children right now

and maturity has NOTHING to do with sex, or reproduction. In fact, when the 'feelings' are there, you're able.
but hey I got lucky for the first time at 19 years old so what do I know?

even in the old times, like medieval times... it was still an older men, like in their mid-thirties, taking a 14 or 15 year old girl in marriage. i wonder why it's like this, still, i wonder why men are usually the initiators.

Same reason men are the ones that "always" cheat and that it's "ok" for men to be promiscuous and that women are dirty sluts if they have sex with a few guys..

Women get pregnant and spend 9 months unable to get pregnant again, and then have the maternal instincts to raise the child, since we're not like, say, horses where they just plop one out, wait a few hours for it to walk and then show it everything, and by day two it's doing everything on it's own..

Our instincts are "get as many women pregnant as possible. Spread your genes as much as possible. You are responsible for the survival of the species". Like AlienZed was saying, women are able to get pregnant around 11, men can ejaculate at any time, but only start producing sperm around that age as well.. Puberty.. There's a reason for it - it's only in the past hundred or so years that humans have started living as long as we have. 200 years ago you were really, really lucky to make it to 30 years old. People living to 30 then are like people living to 70-80 years old now. And despite what people would like to think, that we aren't animals, that we have 'morals' and that makes us better, we still have instincts deep down on a genetic and subconcious level that we try to, but cannot deny.

but women, they also feel the DNA speaking. i guess... around the time when we are fertile we can be crazy too :) but most of the time i see women using provocation, and men making the moves.
i love observing the seduction rites of human beings lol.

Actually this whole idea of women having "maternal instinct" raise the child is false.
Women having to take care of children alone has been a recent apparition. If you look at tribal life, before raising the children was the job of the tribe as a group, not left to women alone.

Also if you look at the logistics of sexuality itself, and our primate cousins, like the Bonobo monkeys for example. You'll realize females are actually the multiogasmic creatures orgasms possibly being separated by just seconds , while men can just have one and then have a waiting period. In Bonobo monkey tribes, women don't wait for the males to regenerate, instead they pass on the next one, in search for the next orgasm.

This fear of females truly achieving their sexual potential and "passing on the next one" is where this idea that women have to stay at home and take care of the children sprouted from.

If you're interested in the TRUE origins of prehistoric origins of modern sexuality, I suggest you read "Sex at Dawn" by Christopher Ryan and Calcida Jetha. It's a hefty read, but it clearly makes the differences between our believed "natural notions" that have actually been socially constructed and the true nature of things with science, genetics and logic.

I highly recommmend it. intersting stuff :)

Of course it's one of the main arguments in the book.
What i love about it is that it truly convinces you with facts and logic that you just can't deny, it completely changes your views about what I thought "instinctual sexuality" was.

honestly I think you might find it interesting :)

don't forget that the clock ticks for men as well, even if they can do it for longer. Past their mid thirties, men's fertility decreases with time. Of course, that doesn't mean they become sterile at 70.

This is accurate!

this wont be elegant, I am pressed for time, but from what I know, human do NOT have instincts, there is no biological clock we are mediated by culture, there are several animals where rearing is left to the males or to the group (and animals do have instincts), lastly in human cultures, if indeed rearing is left to the woman, it is done in a group setting and when the boy becomes of age he sent to the men to finish his rearing. Modern Europeans and Americans have really twisted everything, we are a dilute culture that have held on to minute quantities of tradition and have completely forgotten the philosophy and meaning behind rites.
