Hey Michael I know pretty cool place. [ www.wordans.com ]
Office location: 5605 Avenue de Gaspe #504 Montreal, QC H2T 2A4 I've done just one shirt but im very satisfied. I came to the office, brought my .png picture, chose a tshirt i want and 30min later they sent me a msg saying my order is done:) I paid 17$. White shirt + custom design (full color and quite big size). |

yes they do!
as far as i understood, they accept any shrts, No matter what fabric and color they are. However, there are a phone # on top of the page, u can always call to make sure (they speak both lang). This tool is kinda cool [ www.wordans.com ] and there are already quite a lot of different shirts to chose from. I will definitely print again in that place. btw, I remember at Spore one of your friends liked my tshirt with bunch of E pills printed on it ;-) it's been made in that place. |

interesting :)
i just don't like wearing the normal clothes they always have in those printing places. i hate girls t-shirts, they make me look square lol. and the tank tops they have usually end up being more large than long after a couple of wear+wash. and yes i remember your shirt, it caught my eye :)

look square
LOL :))) well, i'd suggest you to bring your stuff only. It also could be cheaper. I paid for them stock t-shirt 6.90$ (the cheapest one, very simple) and 10$ for printing. i remember your shirt, it caught my eye :)
I printed it with 50% opacity, it's like half transparent, so people can't easily see what's on the picture:)) |

Wordans is the best in Montreal IMO, done business with them a few times and it's always fast, inexpensive and high quality.

If it's just text on only a couple shirts, you can easily make a stencil and use fabric paint, found at Omer DeSerres. It's what I do.

small exacto knife and those transparent plastic sheet... you can print the design on the sheet, cut it with the exacto knife pretty precisely... i've done this, it works nice and it's really cheap..... but it'll always look homemade, the paint often end up getting under the plastic at some place or another. for the 'professional' look, always better to get it printed.

Spray ashesive works wonders to prevent spillage. You could also silkscreen but that's a tad more complex :D
