well, if you have the spare money to spend, then there isn't really something wrong with it, but $1000 for a purse, DOES seem like a lot of money, for a small...bag
but hell $5000 is a damn load of money for a peice of machinery that samples music, but, that's what i'm saving for... but what i really want, is one of those asian massages where they stand on your back, that seems so sexy, anyone wanna walk on my back?, just no heels please |

yeah I try not to spend money unless it gets me something that will be usefull.. 1000$ on a studio quality sound system goes a long way for instance... But in my past I have spent 500$ on clothes in one session, and my taste for food and drink tends to be on the more expensive side, but I am not too bad with it now...
Also, grow up with a father who blows lots of money on silly things and you learn what NOT to do... |

Some fashion is art. I personally agree with Sarah here. Art isn't created to make money, but to define a moment, an emotion, etc... A purse is not pervaying anything artistic when dawning it. It only shows i have money and waste it on the needless things society makes me desire, because status is oh so important. Now obviously i'm terribly materialistic, which i hate. BUt i dont think my adidas zip up is a work of art, and just because you attach a 900$ price tag along to an article of clothing, does not define it as art. |

There is a huge difference in wants and needs. Does one need a 3 60K car or a 2.5 million dollar house or 12 pairs of shoes or name brand everything? Obviously not. Though trapped in a vicious circle of uselessness, somehow people got it in their heads that more everything means you are a better person, are a happier person, which mind you is laughable. What does high society desire *well most of it* too fill the void with wants to replace the needs. A shame. |

You are not the contents of your wallet. You are not a beautiful and unique snow-flake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else. You are all part of the same compost heap. We are the all singing, all dancing crap of the world! The things you own end up owning you. It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything. You have to know, not fear that someday you are going to die. Until you know that and embrace that, you are useless |
