ROFL

yeah, art school. thats cool. i was in fine arts for a year, i took multiple art history courses. so dont you start to rag on me and get on a little high horse about art.

who said anything about status? i buy what *I* choose to buy, and whatever choices I decide to make, how the FUCK does it affect you? In no way-- in fact, you dont even know me, therefore, I think you are in the wrong to make such rash judgements about an individual you dont know.

I dont know who you think you are stepping up and preaching bullshit to me. I work my ass off for my money, 5 days, even sometimes 6 days, per week, hence, what I choose to do with my money, wether it be taking a trip or buying expensive lcothing, has nothing to do with you.

Again, that's just me.

well then when you look through your art history books let me know when you get to the pages about louis vuitton purses.
it doesn't affect me at all- i'm just saying that i think it's superficial. i don't know you, but i know from the things you say here that you don't come off as a very unmaterialistic person.
i think it's great that you work 5-6 days a week, but i would think if you worked that much that you would know the real value of money and not waste it on things like that. it doesn't have anything to do with me- i just think that it's ridiculous. whatever. it's a difference of opinion.

in your opinion: its a waste.

and art is EXTREMELY relevant to fashion today, how could you say that it isnt?

man, its like beating a dead horse here.

i like what i like, and your opinion means nothing to me. i do, what *I* choose to do with my hard earned money. thaaaaaaaanks.

well if you're willing to waste it on that kind of stuff i find it hard to believe. mind you, i have less money, so maybe that's why i think it's more important to manage it better.

as much as i'm in for smart money management, i have to agree with jackie on this one. if you have the budget, why not invest in yourself and your image. when you people grow up, you'll realize that vintage stores were really never cool.
