Oh yeah, and today, other than NOT wanting an ipod, I want this goddamn hangover to go away. I Completely don't remember the chain of events last night, but somehow I wound up with 4 friends in an internet cafe, playing Battlefield 1942, chainsmoking joints with a bottle of amarula and a bottle of rum. wtf? hangover. die. now. |

New battery for my Nokia phone: CDN$49 after tax Installing said new battery: 10 seconds, plus my waranty is intact New battery for iPod: US$49, before shipping/etc Replacing said battery on your own: Free, but you void the waranty and if something fucks up later, it costs you US$250 to find out what's wrong and get it fixed. iPods can hold a whole crap-load of MP3s. Are you really going to listen to all 20 gigs of the MP3s you own in that morning commute to work? And yeah, iPods don't skip. Y'know what? Neither do most diskmans that cost 1/4 of the price. And for added protection against skipping, I have a special padding for my diskman, made up of the 250$ that I saved myself from not buying a proprietary fashion accesory. |
