Step 1) Buy the media

Step 2) Manipulate money growth and use financial leverage to make everyone feel rich, make unemployment low, and tax revenues high.

Step 3) Increase free trade because not enough people to do the work. Outsource jobs because not enough people to do the work. Increase profits for companies owned by the rich. Cut taxes for the rich. Don't tell people that this will in fact constrain their wages by increasing the supply of labor

Step 4) When the money game crumbles, and tax revenues fall, pay for tax cuts by cutting public education, health care, public transit, and social programs.

As an added bonus, the debt and bubbles have been used to steal the middle class's home equity and stock market wealth

The top 1% of U.S. households own nearly twice as much of America's corporate wealth as they did just 15 years ago.

Step 5) Wait for middle class to become more dumb because they have a poorer education. Make people work harder for the same pay by keeping umemployment high.

Step 6) Convince people the problems of America is the negros, fags, mexicans, arabs, abortionists, and loose women. They're making life difficult by increasing costs of national security, social assistance, and taking your jobs. Tell people the tax cuts on the rich are part of the solution.

Step 7) Use the financial leverage and money growth to stimulate the economy. Make everyone feel rich, make unemployment low, and make tax revenues high. People are too dumb to remember they're still worse off than before.

Step 8) See step 3

Conclusion: Its possible to make people work harder for less pay
I'm feeling a overhang right now..

yes, capitalism is evil. We should give all our property to a centralized authority cause that has worked so well in the past.

Not really fixed, liberalism has nothing to do with the federal and provincial parties who bear the name liberal. They were liberal about 30 years ago but their ideas haven't changed since then thus making them somewhat conservative, although not as much as Harper and friends.

I never mentioned otherwise. It had nothing to do with LPC nor LPQ...

The idea of capitalism is "free movement" of the factors of production to maximize the output of society. In theory, it makes people produce more for the same amount of effort by giving them more capital to work with.

The problem is that proponents of free trade think $1 is a $1 no matter who it comes from. Suppose someone in china leaves their farm job paying 1$ an hour to work at Nike at a job that pays 2$. Well to create that job some guy in Michigan got fired from a job paying 20$ an hour, and now has to work a job 5$ an hour. So the "net benefit" is:

+1$ for the chinese guy,
-15$ for the michigan guy
+18$ for the CEO and investors of Nike

So society gains 4$, but the guy in michigan got fucked, and that fat cat CEO got another 1$ in his pocket for coming up with the "great idea", and even richer americans got 17$ because they invested in Nike. So now this guy has to work like a dog for shit pay.

Reuters

"If I'd grown up in California, it probably would have been completely different because of Silicon Valley," he said. "If I'd grown up in Washington, I definitely would have been looking at Microsoft as opposed to Ford, GM or Chrysler. Location kind of dictated where you went."

But instead of experiencing a rising standard of living over time like his dad, who worked at a number of smaller manufacturers before getting into Ford, Stevenson has suffered setback after setback in his career.

Still, he managed to buy his first new vehicle when he was 29 -- the 2000 Ford Ranger pickup truck he continues to drive today. Five years later, he bought a house about 40 miles away from Ferndale for $130,000. And in 2006, he had his best year ever, earning $38,000 a year at a plant that built material handlers for GM. But he accomplished that by clocking 15 to 20 hours of overtime almost every week, a schedule that left him little personal time.

"One of the reasons I'm not married is I've always been working," he said. "Or not working. You're either 60 hours a week or not at all."

I'm not arguing with outsourcing. I'm arguing that the guy in Michigan should be given tax cuts and transfers and a chance to retrain so his life isn't shit. But the guy from michigan is so brainwashed, he thinks the rich people deserve tax breaks.

Guy from Michigan

And even though he's been forced to move back in with his parents and has virtually no income, he opposes Obama's proposal to let some tax cuts for the wealthy, dating back to George W. Bush's presidency, expire at year's end in order to raise revenue and reduce the deficit.

"How is more people, keeping more of the money they earn, bad for the economy?" he said. "The answer is -- it's not."

Capitalism doesn't have to be this brutal, this harsh. You can agree that capitalism works and is incredibly efficient on a "net" basis, but also agree that it fucks a shit load of people over. And you can also agree that capitalism doesn't have to be so harsh. You can use subsidies, job retraining, and social assistance to help people who get fucked. If you don't capitalism might make you more efficient today, but the socio-economic effects of it will fuck you a generation from now when you degrade social capital and socio-economic culture.

there's an army of white collar being trained and gaining experience in China and India ATM, the plutocracy really don't give a fuck ; the only thing they want is to protect their way of doing business, ATM it's with USA empire but I can very well see in a generation or 2 packing their things and moving to China where they'd keep their relative level of wealth & influence.
