dj FISHEAD :
During the last 20 years Fishead has done his best to annihilate the status quo. He runs through tracks at a mindnumbing rate and attacks the turntables with an unadulterated fury that must be seen to be believed. Since 1996 he has been taking his peculiar brand of chaos all over North America... spreading it like a virus. A campaign of deviant turntablism that has touched down all over the midwest United States, and across Canada. Some people claim there is no method to this madness, but perhaps that is the best method of all. He has fought relentlessly against being typecast and has always been willing to explain his direction at any given moment. This attitude and articulation has helped him gain favor with a strange array of audiences. In the past few years some of North America's top promoters have booked him to play alongside some of the most recognized names in electronic music. dj MUTANTE : En 1999 il formera un groupe techno-hardcore prénommé Khan Gourou. Dj LUSHYS: Is a Happy Hardcore/Breakbeat Hardcore/Old Skool Hardcore dj/producer from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Playing since 2002 and producing since 2003, Lushys has played along side such names as Luna-C, Tipsy T, Justrich & Phospher, Ruffage, Dominik, Jorah Fucking Kai, Deacon Boombastardizer, S.0.S., Haze, Grimace and Deedot to name a few. Gardez un oeil sur ce dj car vous allez la revoir plusieurs fois à Montréal en 2010!! dj NICKY TWIST : Nicky Twist has been considered by many as a prodigy when he steps up to the decks. He quickly started mastering the art of scratching, mixing and turntablism as a teenager and found himself falling in love with the craft. Soon after, he began his journey playing across the continent in such cities as Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Ottawa,Florida, South Carolina, NY, NJ, and countless other places including a tour in 2002 through Canada. Nicky has also played in the famous tunnel, limelight, and exit in NYC throughout his early 20's and soon became a staple of the Northeastern Rave circuit. Now at 27, he's a seasoned professional when he rips it with his DMC tricks and unique scratching patterns that very few DJs can touch. From the time he was a child he's been a musician and he can play almost any instrument handed to him. Influencing his sound by playing throughout the states Nicky Began developing his production skill in early 2004. Picked up in just a few short years by VisonaryMindz recordings and AudioFase Recordings in 2006, Nicky made trial runs on releasing his first Mp3 Formatted Tunes. Seeing moderate success and fine tuning his tastes, NickY Picked up by beginning his own label with Fellow partner Mikey Parkay in 2009.NIcky twists talents were recongnizxed by legnedary rob gee, so much that rob invited twist to become part of the rob gee band. nicky twist brings the same flair behind the ones and twos as part of this powereful quintent stomping across the globe. The year has just Started but be prepared for an onslought of future releases from this Rising Talent.. |

he claims to be using Sans Fil, but he's charging $5. he either think he's gonna get 1000 people, or has absolutely no concept of economics. either way, this has disaster written all over it.

ah... drama.
I suppose it's great that this thread is getting bumped, but I'm not sure if most of the contributions are all that positive. Maybe people are just extra-spiteful this time of year... too many forced smiles surround us, and we feel the need to lash out. I was one of the artists scheduled to play at Demolition Tour, and was also one of the artists that was axed from the line-up when the second room was canceled. The explanation I was given at the party was that Fractal (the original venue) had bailed on their signed contract. Given that Fractal did this exact same thing with other friends of mine, I'm inclined to believe that what I was told was true. Fractal bailed, kept the deposit money and the promoters were forced to find an alternate venue at the last minute. This was an unforeseen expense, and the space really didn't allow for the second room to happen. It was 3+ years ago. Let's move on. Hardcore parties in Montreal have become a rarity over the past few years... they still go down from time to time, but not often. So it'd be great if people who are into the music came out to support it... and people who aren't interested in showing up quit showing such an interest. I'm really looking forward to this one... I've pretty much been on hiatus from playing shows in Montreal while I finish my degree, and I'm quite stoked about coming back and playing a hardcore show at home for the first time in almost a year (last time was when Massacre played in March)...
I'm feeling new records right now.. |
