Something I noticed though is that your Kick seems to really mask the bass whenever it comes in (from like 1:06 - 1:25), it sounds like side-chaining, or if you have a limiter on your master then maybe your overloading and it's squashing the signal whenever the kick comes in. It seems to go away after wards when the track becomes less dense so my guess is the limiter If I were you I'd try to notch some space in the bass(Figure out where the fundamental frequencies of your kick lie) Also I think if you cleaned up the lower mids (like 200 - 1000 hz)the track would come out as being much more clear, and it would give your bass more room to breathe. Still a great track though I like it, don't take my comments the wrong way, I think you can always improve your tracks. |
