 Coolness: 167300 | so i've been on another thread about hippies and how they think the dna will evolve to human-butterflies... which made me think of many possible evolutions of our species, and i went on a google image search to find these pictures.
what i'm asking is what do you think will be the next evolution of humans? |

First step should be to stop fighting about land and deities none of us has actually seen unless high as a kite on psychoactive drugs. |

And I find it funny that a lot of people claim to have seen or spoken to God but, just like UFOs and their passengers, he or she never looks the same and says the same thing. Again, some will say " well, He chooses a form you are well acquainted with to appear before you " but then again, if I look at the movie Contact with Jodie Foster, so does aliens. :) |

 Coolness: 686315 | I once saw creation on shrooms. The clouds in the sky were triangular kaleidoscope eyes, the leaves of the trees were also eyes and staring at me.. The grass grew and tried to pull me into the ground and then I got stuck in a couple of time-loops for about a week each.. (well, in my head it was a week  )

It wasn't god, it was the big bang. well ok actually it was the sunrise It's like my vision had a time gradient; where I was standing on Mt Royal was the present, but the further out I looked, the further back in time it was, like a gradient going from white to black, untill the furthest point I could see, which was the sunrise, and I saw creation. (and no fucker with a beard!) |

 Coolness: 73605 | I<v experienced alot of crazy things with extremely high dose or various psychedelic drugs in sensory isolation. I'v been through all the clichés and more. But i dont have any defenitive explanations of opinions on these experiences. I find them interessting and i spent alot of my time reading about psychedelic drugs.
The people having these kinds of experiences and going bananas about it are scarier than the experiences themselves. When reflecting on those far out wild trips i had, i see myself as a primitive man looking at a starlit sky 50,000 years ago. Which means that every attemps at making a reasonable explanation is futile. So basicly, i see people wo are setting up a whole system of belief around these experiences are in the best case uneducated people and in the worse case disturbed and paranoid. The worse part is that some people making statments about these experiences clearly havent read anything decent about the subject. Or worse, they read religious litterature and try to make it fit with the psychedelic experiences they had. Hum, reading a book about computers wont make you a good car repairer. It goes the other way too, people who didnt read anything serious about psychedelic drugs and disregarding these mental states as frivolous '' its just a drug mannn ''. It's always fun to play the '' what if '' game tough lol. Some people have a definitive almost religious theory about alternate states of consciousness. I have about 200 different explanations. It's always fun to speculate about everything in life. And yeah, to those who say that they never had any UFO/deities/paranormal/transcendend experience on psychedelic drugs, whatever they are, i assure you that you can have one. Key factors are dosage and set/settings. Im positive here, i can make anybody have an experience so profound it feels like near death type stuff if i can control the set/setting and dosage and make a series of exposure to the drug. my 2 cents lol |
