 Coolness: 67240 | I'm in the process of developing a huge website for electronic musicians. Focused on the production, technique, ect rather than culture.
The website will be called Psikon Music Resources and its located at [ www.psikon.com ] (not up yet of course). What I'm looking for is a slogan for Psikon. On the graphic at [ www.psikon.com ] it says "Powering the electronic revolution" but since electronic music is past that phase, a new slogan is needed. Remember, this website is not geared towards electronic music culture, but primarily on production. We will be having tutorials, reviews on hardware/software, articles, forums, contests, ect. PRIZE: You will recieve pirated copies (*smirk*) of Advanced Media Trax. A collection of high quality samples covering a wide range of subjects including orchestral melodies, vocals, tribal drumloops, ect. A few samples off each of the three CDs can be found at [ www.psikon.com ] Yes, they will be pirated copies on blank cds but hey, this is a lot better than trying to find the CDs yourself or buying them for the $100 or so they are worth. The first CD comes with cubase and logic files for demo sequences on how to arrange the orchestral loops. WHERE TO SEND: Send all slogan ideas to v0idnull@sympatico.ca. Since that address gets spammed alot, please ensure that PSIKON is in the subject line, otherwise I will most likely ignore it and delete it. MISC: This contest is open to everyone and not subject to any sort of skill testing question. It has not been aproved by any government agency. Enter at your own risk. No purchase necessary. Your slogan will be judged based on a multitude of requirements and standards by me and my partner. The winner will be contacted via email (To the address that the slogan was sent by) on May 5th, 2003. Good luck! |
