Ninja turtles kicked ass.

I'd watch them again. And Ghostbusters.

ooo, that's right! Since Bill Murray won't agree to do a 3rd Ghostbuster movie (He's got 1/3 of the contract) He HAS agreed to let them make a new cartoon serries!

Conceptual Artwork, New Details Emerge
February 01, 2003, 03:42 PM PDT

As announced earlier, a new series of Ghostbusters products will be announced soon and [ Ghostbusters.net ] is airing the early conceptual artwork, also known as study cases, that started off these new products.

For the rest of January [ Ghostbusters.net ] will bring you early conceptual artwork (study cases) of all four Ghostbusters, starting with Egon. This will give us some perspective as to what direction the unnamed company is going in. However, please be aware that these are very early case studies which may differ greatly from the final product.

The official announcement as to what these products will not happen before the end of January. Rest assured that the company is working very hard to work out the final details. Reasons for the delay could be due to the feedback the company received from fans here on the Ghostbusters Message Boards.

Red Ketchup, the [ Ghostbusters.net ] informant, has requested feedback from the results of these case studies being displayed. As they appear on the site, please post your thoughts in the "It's Coming" thread.

UPDATE: Details are emerging as to how these products will take shape. As we have speculated before we beleive that all evidence points to a new comic series. However there are more questions as to what the other products may be as there are supposed to be 8 products released spanning 3 totally different categories. Recently, Red Ketchup was able to give us the following facts which are listed below.

FINAL CHARACTER ART:

Early tests which are nowhere near the final result. The final character designs were not done by "El Diablo", however he remains a VIP on the project. Art style much different than the current study cases.

Final results don't come close to looking like the Real Ghostbusters.

Chest straps on the uniforms will be moved down, as it is displayed in the original film.

The characters designs will be absolutley based on the original film from the neck down. The only true difference that remains is their faces.

Winston's final design is totally different, not very close to the Real Ghostbusters or the original film in design and is one of Red's favorite designs.

Ray's final design resembles Dan Aykroyd as much as legally possible. He is not as heavy as the early test art.

Egon's final design is a cross between the movie and the cartoon. More close to the movie, like Harold Ramis, no twirly hair.

Peter's final design is not final yet. Red and company are burning the midnight oil in order to perfect the look.

STORYLINE:
Red is soley responsible on how the series will look, how it will be handled, what we will see, and how we are going to see it.

The series will be soley based on the original film, all they way to the smallest details.

Slimer won't be a pet and won't appear that often. Also, his name will revert back to onionhead, as he was referenced behind the scenes on the original film.

No new Ghostbusters, just the familiar Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, and Peter Venkman.

Louis in some compacity, but not ghostbusting.

The Firehouse and Ecto-1 exactly as they were portrayed in the original film. However, the Ecto-1 will most likley have a bit of rust here or there as the Ghostbusters aren't rich.

All the Ghostbusting equipment will be true to the original film. The proton packs, traps, containment unit, and uniforms will all look exactly as they did in the original film.

Story will be set in present time, 2003. However the Ghostbusters are roughly the same age they were in the first film.

Yup,
Generation Dub, on reform.
This song is crossed over. ;)
the Monster sounds on the other side of the 12" is betta! IMO, it's got alot more intense breaks, less swaying, but more sutbtile build ups...plays alot more wif the theme too (I'm talking about monsters, not the original tune)

BLOP!

I remember Mommy telling me that Scotty P as a little boy thought the ninja turtles were real, and wanted to go see them in the sewers.

I think.. or maybe we wanted to see the ghost busters, I don't remember, lets say he thought both were real.
