Fuck...apparently Iran has a huge raev since...and they take it pretty fucking seriously. And for the past couple weeks they've been having a series of rave massives, turning their cities of Terhan and Meiosualiediu into fucking party zones.

Everybody raves - the children, the teens, the adults, the grannies. They even have rave police who make sure you rave hard...or else. Man, check out these photos:

1) A cyber raver

-
-

2) Tiesto's set

-
-

3) Benga's set is starting is a half hour...look at the rush

-
-

4) "Technoboy was FUCKING AWESOME - W000t W000T"

-
-

5) Ohio - Michigan represent for Richie Hawtin

-
-

6) This girl did way too much K. Here she is being told "I dont care how much K you took. You keep raving hard"

-
-

7) Heres they're using the smoke machine. It was a psytrance set...so obviously its a little empty. You can see the one guy who did way too much acid.

-
-

8) This kid is being told that being emo is detrimental to the iranian rave scene

-
-

9) These guys are marching for the P in PLUR

-
-

10) These are the hardcores that left over at 6 am after a weekend massive

-
-

11) More ravers

-
-

12) This dude was talking shit about kandi kids. Its cool if u wanna be a graver, but you gotta be respectful.

-
-

13) Poi

-
-

14) SHOWTEK

-
-

15) Iranian Ginos

14) Old school - wearing the addidas!

that was the idea...but it also humored me. But yeah, its rediculous that I havent heard a whisper about these Iranian riots on CBC, CTV, CNN or any other american or canadian news network. Even in the papers...

Like seriously, wtf? How isnt this breaking news? Its fucking rediculous. They reported all the non news of Amejinidad and his antics with the USA, and now that theres real news, no one is reporting anything.

Mikael, Liam, grow e-balls pleez.

That was so fucking epic. I am not happy about Iran's situation either but this was comic genius nonetheless.

It's not like he's laughing at dead people, in this case it's obvious that the situation is different and the guy had some hilarious commentary.
I'm feeling mighty frisky right now..

exactly , some ppl here out to swith their light switch on and get with the program.

while they wait for the solution to come up on their tv set , or that the conservator acts on the subject. we have heros like gamos that goes beyon boundaries and get the message through.

ill coin a french term for them " memeres " and ppl oughta stop giving back " treatments " to each others or ill never stop .

meanwhile catch me in the streets with mah green hand =D
I'm feeling tarfu right now..

If anyone is on twitter, set your location to Tehran and your time zone to GMT +3.30. Security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut Iranians' access to the internet down.
I'm feeling no sleep till tuesda right now..

Meh...not everyone is going to love everything I post. Im ok with the criticism...it was perhaps pushing it, especially at the death told rises, but hopefully it draws a little attn to iran. Anyways, its good to see CBC has finally started some decent coverage as of saturday. And apparently CNN, The Times and other major news sources in the states have begun to make this the top news story as of Sunday.

But IMO if Iranians are protesting in mass numbers over an election result of a quasi-election (after all both candidates were approved by the governing council and have both ruled under the current system), its a sense of the degree of unrest in the country. Further more you have Iran hiring Hezbolah out of Lebanon to kill its own people who protest against the election, and arrests of key figures are increasing.

This is going to get very serious...apparently the guardian council has dismissed the voting irregularities as inmaterial. Things could not escalate very quickly. The times made this their front page. Its good to see that whole world has finally started to make this their main story.

lol @ the pun. and thanks Blisss. If this was going to offend anyone I thought it would be you, so Im glad you took it in stride or saw the humor. Ive heard that apparently Damascus and Beirut also have a pretty vibrant edm scene; I can't wait to go.

Whats your background anyways? Where in the middle-east?
